Dr. Etsegenet Ayele, MD
Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Ayele is a Board Certified internal medicine physician with over 20 years of experience at Katella Wellness Center in Los Alamitos, CA where she specializes in treating the geriatric population. In to her practice, she conducts clinical trials in areas such as diabetes, dementia cardiovascular disease, obesity, and chronic kidney disease at Pacific Clinical Studies. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Ayele enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.
Shalani Albayalde, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Shalani is a Nurse Practitioner with 21 years of experience and 31 years as a Registered Nurse. She has worked in operating rooms, focused on geriatric care, and managed surgical operations. After obtaining her Master's in Nursing/Family Nurse in 2004, she dedicated herself to educating future nurses and managing post-acute, family, and wound care. As co-founder of The Nurse Academy, she teaches nursing students and emphasizes geriatric care in various facilities. In her free time, Shalani enjoys cooking, baking, and shopping with her daughters, feeling grateful for her supportive family.
